faceLoopPatch is a Maya tool for rebuilding and smoothing uneven face-loop patches while keeping the surrounding border connected. It detects the side and cap edges, creates a smoother lofted surface, then snaps and merges it back into the original mesh so the repaired area stays clean and connected. Good for fixing messy topology, uneven loops, or damaged surface patches without manually rebuilding every edge.

The tool tries to detect the 4 corners based on corner sharpness. If there are too many sharp edges in the selected area, it may produce a bad result. In that case, slightly flatten or soften the extra sharp edges to help the tool detect the correct corners.
This tool is still very experimental, so please use it at your own risk.
It is recommended to save your scene before running it, especially on complex topology.
